Dr Lesnik Oberstein is a fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. She has extensive experience in complex cataract surgery and retinal surgery including floater surgery, retinal detachment, macular pucker and macular hole surgery training.

She attended medical school at the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, where she received her degree with distinction in 1992. She did her full surgical training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and medical retina and surgical retina at the Western eye Hospital.
From 2003-2016 she was the senior surgical consultant at the Academic Medical Center, Amsterdam. She also has an active career in research following her 2006 PhD in retinal neuroscience.She speaks English, Dutch, French and German fluently.

Mr. Robbie Walker is an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and a
consultant retinal (VR) and cataract surgeon. Trained in North London – including fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Robbie has built an enviable reputation as an outstanding surgeon and trainer.
He believes that excellent patient care is imperative to ensuring the best possible experience.

His subspecialties include Vitreoretinal surgery (including retinal detachment, macular hole, epiretinal membrane, diabetes, lens exchange), cataracts (including complex cataracts), retinal conditions including age-related macular degeneration, diabetes, and vein occlusions, and urgent eye care.

Esther is a highly experienced consultant who has held senior posts at the Western Eye Hospital and Barts Health NHS Trust since 2005 following Fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Esther has played a key role in medical education, having held a senior training director position in postgraduate ophthalmology training. She is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and committed to empowering patients through a collaborative approach to managing their eye conditions.
Her expertise includes: diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degenerations, retinal vein occlusions, retinal hydroxychloroquine toxicity, central serous retinopathy, retinal naevi (moles), floaters and genetic retinal disorders; eyelid conditions and emergency and urgent care ophthalmology.
